Hey everyone. Here's what we're looking at for this week.
Next
Saturday,
at
the Abington
show...
...we
will
be
playing
and
moving
the
show
into
the
downbeat
of
measure
43
in
Part
3.
To
make
this
happen,
this
week
we
will....
-
Give
the
pit
ALL
of
Tuesday
evening
to
tighten
up
Part
3 up
to
that
point.
-
Give
the
battery
1
hour
of
"putting-it-together"-time
before
spending
the
next
2
hours
of
Tuesday
evening
reviewing
the
drill
with
the
music
and
maybe
learning
a
couple
of
more
sets
up
to
m.43
-
Spend
all
of
Thursday
with
the
pit
&
battery
together
in
ensemble
and
on
the
floor
repping
through
Part
3
and
the
whole
show
-
Make
sure
all
sections
of
the
battery
have
drill
on
hand
for
reference
to
make
the
process
faster.
To
ensure
a
great
&
productive
week,
all
members
must...
-
PREPARE
all
music
and
make
sure
it
is
MEMORIZED.
And
not
just
memorized...but
FLAWLESSLY
memorized
and
prepared.
We
will
not
have
time
to
spoon
feed
any
notes
to
people.
You
have
had
this
music
for
quite
some
time
now.
-
REVIEW
all
drill
phrases
with
the
music
phrases
(battery).
Everyone
must
know
where
all
step-offs
&
direction
changes
occur.
-
RECALL
everything
that
was
covered
a
few
weeks
back
when
we
initially
learned
these
portions
of
the
show
(Part
3).
-
BE
WILLING
to
help
one
another
out
so
we
can
all
be
successful.
-
COMMIT
to
having
absolutely
QUIET
rehearsals
with
the
highest
degree
of
focus...and
a
unified
approach
to
performing
&
rehearsing that
will
make
you
not
just
good
but
GREAT.
We
fully
expect
all
members
to
be
prepared
this
week.
Please
remember,
being
a
member
of
the
RV
Indoor
Percussion
Ensemble
is a
privilege,
not
a
right.
Those
who
are
prepared
rehearse...those
who
are
not,
sit
out
and
practice
on
their
own
until
they
are.
We
have
a
lot
of
room
for
growth
this
season.
Let's
take
advantage
of
this
opportunity
to get
better.
Here's
to a
great
week.
